Glass & Aluminum Facade Drawings
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need complete shop drawings for two interconnected façade packages on the same project: the suspended glass spider system and the surrounding aluminum-clad areas.
For the glass spider system, the drawings must clearly show:
• all spider hardware and fittings
• exact glass panel dimensions, edge treatments, and any cut-outs for hardware
• section, and elevation so the structural engineer can sign off without further RFIs
For the aluminum cladding façade, I only require the fixing details plus joint and sealing information—panel layout is already frozen in a separate document, so you can reference those gridlines without redrawing them. Make sure the fixing brackets, fasteners, and backing structures are coordinated with the spider anchors to avoid clashes, and show sealant back-rod depths and movement allowances at every joint type.
I work in AutoCAD 2023, so supply layered .dwg files and a combined PDF set ready for submission. Dimension units should be millimetres, and every sheet must carry my provided title block. I’ll review for completeness, clash-free coordination between the two façade systems, and consistency with the architectural elevations before giving final approval.
