Georgian House & Extension Interior Design
Budget: €20,000 – €50,000 EUR
I’m restoring a 750 m², three-storey Georgian country house and adding a contemporary wing. My goal is an eclectic marriage of classic Georgian elegance with crisp modern lines, so every space feels coherent yet fresh.
Scope of the property
• Main house: two standard bedroom suites, two larger “generous” suites, plus all shared rooms—library / drawing room, music room, dining, bar and kitchen.
• Lower-ground-floor apartment for guests or staff.
• New extension: open, light-filled volumes with floor-to-ceiling glazing that frame the surrounding Irish landscape.
What I need from you
– Full interior concept for every zone, respecting period details while introducing modern comfort.
– Space planning and annotated floor plans showing circulation, built-ins and furniture layouts.
– Mood boards and colour / material palettes that weave Georgian motifs with contemporary textures.
– 3D visualisations or high-quality renders to test proportions and that all-important natural-light strategy in the extension.
– FF&E schedules, lighting plan, and a concise specification pack ready for contractors.
Tools & format
I’m used to reviewing drawings in AutoCAD or Revit, with supporting renders from SketchUp, 3ds Max or Enscape—whatever you’re comfortable with as long as files are share-ready.
Timeline & next steps
I’d like to move quickly on the bedroom suites and kitchen/bar so trades can be booked, then roll through the remaining rooms. A separate stone cottage on the grounds will follow if we work well together.
If you’re experienced blending heritage properties with modern interventions, let’s chat and see your portfolio of similar work.
