Floating Concrete Steps Design in AutoCAD
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
**Project Brief: AutoCAD Design and Drawings for Floating Concrete Steps from a DP file I have made using Dot3D**
**Objective:**
I require a metric (mm) detailed AutoCAD file for the front of my residential property. This will be used by a concrete contractor to accurately quote and construct a new set of floating concrete steps leading from the grass verge up to the front door.
**Scope of Work:**
- Convert the front section of my residential property into a clean, accurate AutoCAD drawing.
- I will provide a DP (dot product) point cloud file created using Dot3D, which captures the current conditions, including the heights and contours of the area. This drawing should be able to be used to construct a new driveway in the future.
- Design and draft a new set of floating concrete stairs to replace the previous wooden stairs, which have mostly been removed due to rot.
- The new floating steps must:
- Follow the existing site contours and heights accurately.
- Be properly spaced for safe and comfortable use.
- Incorporate a design detail for integrated LED strip lighting beneath the front lip of each step (allowance for conduit/channel for wiring should be included in the drawing).
- The AutoCAD file must have layers that can be turned off or on, and be detailed enough for a contractor to quote and construct from, including:
- Plan view
- Elevations
- Relevant cross-sections
- Notes/specifications on materials and lighting integration.
**Deliverables:**
- AutoCAD (.dwg) file with all the above details.
- PDF set of the drawings for easy review.
- (Optional but preferred) A simple 3D visual or rendering showing the final step layout and lighting concept.
**Notes:**
- Accuracy in height data is crucial.
- The design should maintain a clean, modern aesthetic in keeping with concrete floating steps.
- If required, I can provide site photos to assist with understanding the surroundings and design intent.
My DP file is 41mb so I will need to upload this manually to you.
