Experienced Tekla Engineer for Industrial Facility
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need a Tekla engineer with experience for preparing all fabrication, shop drawings and connection detailing of steel structures for an industrial facility. Familiarity and compliance with American codes and standards (AISC, ASCE) are essential.
I am attaching the GA drawings as well the comments design drawings. Follow the architectural from the GA drawings and prepare all the deliverables based on the commented drawing.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Expert in steel detailing
- Proficient in connection detailing
- Familiar with American structural codes (AISC, ASCE)
- Previous experience with industrial facility projects
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
There are a total of 1 structural buildings which also has mezzanine floor.
Scope of work & deliverables:
• You need to provide complete connection detailing as well.
• You will provide all native files
• Generating & submission of detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for structural steel components.
• Creating & submission of assembly drawings with clear instructions for fabrication and installation.
• Producing & Submission of erection drawings to aid site construction teams.
• Ensuring accurate bolt lists and Bill of Materials for procurement efficiency.
• Compliance with industry standards and client-specific requirements.
• Providing detailed BOQ / BOM of all items required in fabrication and erection processes
• Timely delivery with regular progress updates.
• Delivery format: PDF, DWG, IFC, or per your requirement including 3D drawings
• Work must be completed within max 7 days
• For any changes from GA provided if there is a client issue, 2 -3 changes will be accommodated. Subsequent changes will be carried out at cost. Max cost for all changes shall not exceed 25% of the project value
• For any errors or deviations in the drawings owing to designers’ issues, these shall be corrected at no cost.
• You confirm to support us until the erection process during the fabrication and until the erection is completed
• You scope is to provide detailed BOQ's for all items including but not limited to steel members, fatteners, sheeting material etc. which are required to complete the works
• Boq;s in meters and sq. mtr is not acceptable. For an example - You need to provide the beam sizes in meters, sheeting length in meters and total numbers.
• All steel structure components BOQ will be provided. Civil, electric, plumbing is excluded. Steel structure means - all framing members including connection plates, all joints, all cladding and roof sheet, deck panel and all types of sheeting accessories. BOQ should include purlins, sag rods etc as well, Crane runway beams also to be a part of the BOQ.
