I need an occasional consultant for beam sizing on residential renovation projects. The materials involved will be both engineered lumber and steel.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Expertise in beam sizing
- Experience with both engineered lumber and steel
- Background in residential construction, particularly renovations
- Structural engineering knowledge
Must be licensed in the state of Michigan.
All field measuring and field work/drawing to be completed by designer.
Site visits are not necessary.
