Electrical Engineering for Residential Projects

I'm in need of an expert to oversee and manage the electrical aspect of my existing residential projects. This task includes evaluating site surveys, determining interconnection methods such as MPU, line side tap, back feed breaker, and other jurisdiction-specific tie-ins, coordinating with our CAD drafter to create plans, stamping these plans, and finally providing a comprehensive bill of materials for ordering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive site survey information for existing residential properties
- Identify and call out interconnection methods (MPU, line side tap, back feed breaker, etc.)
- Collaborate with our CAD drafter to create necessary plans
- Stamp plans
- Collaborate with structural engineer for stamping
- Must have knowledge of digitally stamped single file and split file plans
- Provide a detailed bill of materials based on the plans
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal freelancer for this project would have extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the context of residential solar properties. Familiarity with various interconnection methods and jurisdictional requirements is crucial. Skills in CAD and other design software are beneficial.
