What is the overall vision for the space?
Warm, earthy, energetic area to gather friends and family.
Interior Style
A vibrant and eclectic interior style that blends elements of maximalism, mid-century modern, and bohemian aesthetics.
What is the primary function of space?
1. Gather over dinner, movie nights.
2. We love to host
3. include flex space for work desk, guest to sleep comfy overnight with privacy
Specific lifestyle needs or preferences to consider (e.g., children, pets, hobbies)?
1. Dedicated spot for temple. We will need to be mindful of the direction it's put in. Should have a wall behind it. Can discuss more as we go into space planning
2. Dedicated spot for dog food / pet bowls/ storage of leash and harness. ideally close to the entry/exit door or right outside it.
3. Dedicated spot for shoes either outside the house or right inside. We want a shoe free home.
4. Spanky Bar spot, exposed wine bottles on a wall?
5. 2 pets who love to play , potentially a baby next year so we would like to use the flex space for baby needs to avoid going up and down the stairs.
What is the desired level of formality or casualness?
Lux casual with lot of seating space for guests
Are there any specific colors, patterns, or textures that I like or dislike?
Love clay pink, greens, blues, pastels, golds, purples. We have 2 anthropologie chair that we will need to accommodate. Open to painting the kitchen cabinets to add more character.

How do I envision the flow of traffic through space?
Space for gathering at the dinner table, relaxing sunny nook to drink coffee or read a book, flex space to include a workstation/ sleeping space and/or potentially a baby crate/station in future.

Layers, mix and match. definitely love stone and wood, big mirrors creatively placed, live plants in massive planters
