Dual Trailer Design Project
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I am developing two related products—a cement bulker trailer and a liquid tanker trailer—and need a seasoned mechanical engineer to take them from concept to production-ready documentation. Your job will begin with a complete 3D model of each trailer, including the chassis, suspension interfaces, and tank structure, then progress to fully detailed manufacturing and technical drawings.
Either SolidWorks or AutoCAD is acceptable, so choose whichever lets you work fastest without compromising precision. Previous experience with heavy vehicles or trailer frameworks is strongly preferred because I want proven strategies for enhanced durability and straightforward, low-cost maintenance built into the design from day one.
Key deliverables
• Fully parametric 3D models for both trailer variants
• Engineering-grade drawings: layout, assembly, and part details suitable for fabrication and QA
• Bill of materials and welding/fastening specifications where relevant
• Native and neutral file formats (e.g., .SLDPRT/.SLDASM or .DWG plus STEP/IGES)
I will provide capacity targets, axle loads, and regional regulation data once we start; your output must respect those constraints and be ready for direct hand-off to a fabricator.
