Drafting and architectural approval for a pergola deck

Im looking to build a deck with a pergola that will be able to support solar panels for the roof. The deck approximate size of the pergola is 12' x 40'. I have a solar installer company lined up but they require that the disign for the pergola be architectural approved (stamped), before they will agree to install the solar panels. Will provide more accurate measurments and plans. Will also pay for initial meeting to discuss further. Finished design must pass architecture approval for permiting. I will be building the deck and pergola myself. I anticipate i will be using screw pilings for the base, the pergola would be a combination of presure treated wood and prefabricated hardware. And thinking composite for the deck surface.
