Designer Needed for Stainless Wire Carousel
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
We are searching for a designer to produce production for a stainless wire bar carousel. This should be a manually operated four-sided carousel of around 2.5m in height and around .5m square in section. Though not necessarily square in section - a flattened square might provide a more compelling perspective to passing pedestrians and drivers.
Each side should comfortably display three T-shirts, delivering 12 shirts per carousel. The weight of the shirts will be less than 250gm each. I visualise the shirts draped over hangers, sans hook, similar to that pictured, in vertical stacks of three.
We expect to produce 20-25 such carousels for a new studio we will open shortly. The shirts on the carousels will be individually illuminated and described: the explanation of what is being admired, why and by whom. Please consider how said explanation and the shirt's illumination would be elegantly delivered.
The carousel will be manually turned and have a height of approximately 2.5m with a square section of around 0.5m. Each side of the carousel should be designed to support items of up to 2 kg.
The design needs to be simple yet appealing, complementing the apparel without overshadowing it. The final plans should be suitable for specialist fabrication.
