Design Residential Metering Protection Panel
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m putting together a compact main panel for a small residential building that will host three fully-independent single-phase meters, each sitting behind its own ELCB and voltmeter. The panel also needs a shared Type 2 surge protection device to deal with switching surges on the incoming line, plus an automatic over-voltage control circuit that can disconnect power the moment the line rises above the set threshold and reconnect when it returns to normal.
I’d like everything built around Schneider Electric gear where practical—meters, ELCBs, the SPD and the over-voltage relay—so please base your selections on their current catalogue (or clearly flag any unavoidable substitutions).
Deliverables I need from you:
• Single-line and detailed wiring diagrams ready for fabrication (AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar)
• Complete bill of materials with Schneider Electric part numbers and quantities
• Enclosure layout showing DIN-rail spacing, cable routing and clearances
• Brief calculation notes on load balancing, conductor sizing and breaker discrimination
• Commissioning test plan that verifies the ELCBs, automatic over-voltage trip and SPD operation
Designs must respect IEC 60364 and typical residential installation practices. I’ll be available for quick feedback along the way so we can lock the schematics and move straight to build without revisions later.
