Architectural Design for Dual-Container Office + Workshop Building
Project Description:
I am looking for an experienced architect or designer to help me draw out a detailed design plan for a container-based building using two 20-foot shipping containers placed side-by-side (creating a 16ft x 20ft total footprint). This project is a hybrid office and workshop/storage space, and I need professional drawings to begin sourcing pricing and prepare for construction.
Key Features to Include in the Design:
Two 20ft containers side-by-side (joined internally with walk-through access)
Workshop area with tool racks, shelving, and central workbench
Office area with desk/workspace
Full bathroom with stand-up shower, toilet, and sink
Kitchenette with sink, countertop, and mini refrigerator
Solar system with battery storage (grid-tied) and inverter room
Split AC system
Adequate electrical and lighting layout
Floor plan and side elevation views (bonus if you can provide 3D renderings)
Lift-up or reattachable side panel system for transportability (optional but preferred)
Deliverables:
Scaled top-down 2D floor plan (PDF or CAD)
Side and elevation views (CAD or SketchUp preferred)
Optional 3D visual rendering
Any construction notes, material suggestions, or layout enhancements
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing container homes, offices, or modular structures
Ability to translate functionality into efficient spatial layout
Understanding of solar and off-grid building considerations is a plus

Estimated cost and timeline to complete the drawings
