Custom Structural Revit Family creation

I have a few families I need created. 1. is a Framo F100 Structural Framing, 2. Framo STA F100 End Connector and potentially a custom cable tray. I have all the 3D DWG files created but I am having difficulty getting my created families to actually connect.

The Beam profile needs to be adjustable and both attached files need to be structural components not specialty.
