Custom PCB Design — ESP8266 / 32 RFID Attendance System
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Designed and developed a compact, custom PCB for a wireless RFID-based attendance tracking system intended for school deployment. The board integrates an ESP8266 Wi-Fi microcontroller with an MFRC522 RFID reader, multi-color status LEDs, audio feedback, and battery monitoring in a single unified design.
Key Deliverables:
Full schematic design in EDA tool (KiCad/EasyEDA)
Custom PCB layout with component placement and routing
BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation
Design review and validation
Technical Highlights:
ESP8266/32 Wi-Fi SoC for wireless data transmission via HTTS
MFRC522 RFID reader via SPI interface for card/tag detection
RGB status indicator LEDs (Green, Blue, Red) with current limiting
Active buzzer for audio feedback on scan events
Battery voltage monitoring via ADC voltage divider
Onboard power management with EN control
Compact 2-layer PCB design optimised for enclosure mounting
