Convert Hand Drawn Construction Sets to 2D AutoCAD and 3D Rhino Files
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
These scanned drawing sets are of small scale pavilions and attractions typically used in carnivals and amusement festivals. Each attraction has a different number of scanned hand drawn construction sets in PDF format that contain a variety of plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
There are a total of 29 attractions and each have a different number of scanned hand drawn construction set PDF's. Each construction set also varies in the number of drawings on set.
There will be two parts to the scope of work - a 2D portion and a 3D portion. There will be a 2D & 3D trial before the entire job is awarded.
Scope of Work:
2D portion ~
- To convert all scanned hand drawn construction set PDF's into 2D AutoCAD files as per each attraction / pavilion.
- Each attraction / pavilion should have one AutoCAD file complete with the necessary plans, sections, elevations, and details
- Create any missing elevations in the AutoCAD file
- Major dimensions must be added to each drawing
* It is important to note that the drawing set may not be scanned straight / squared up. Please ensure that the lines being drawn in AutoCAD are straight and true to the x-y axis as required and are closed curves when necessary.
3D portion ~
- Make 3D files in Rhino (.3dm) using 2D AutoCAD files of the attraction / pavilion
- Each attraction / pavilion should have one 3D Rhino file
- Renders are NOT required at this time
- 3D File MUST be a Rhino file (.3dm)
Trial:
The trial will consist of having to convert all PDF’s for 1 attraction / pavilion to 2D AutoCAD and make a 3D Rhino model of it as mentioned above.
Note:
- Each attraction varies in the number of hand drawn construction set PDF's
- There are a total of 183 PDF files for 2D conversion + the creation of any missing elevations
- The current hand drawn sets are in German language
- A signed NDA will be required
