Description:
We’re looking for an experienced electrical design engineer to produce electrical control panel schematics and related drawings on a remote, ongoing/as-needed basis.

Scope of work:

• Create and revise electrical schematics for control panels (single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layouts)
• Work from provided specs, sketches, or existing drawings
• Ensure designs follow relevant electrical standards (please note which standards you’re familiar with — IEC, AS/NZS, NEC, etc.)
• Deliver clean, editable files (AutoCAD, Revit, EPLAN, or similar — please specify your software)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical/control panel design
• Strong AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software skills
• Good English communication for back-and-forth revisions
• Portfolio or samples of past schematic/panel work

Budget: $8–10 USD/hour
Location: Open to remote freelancers worldwide
Client location: Sydney, Australia (please note overlap hours if possible, though async work is fine)
