Container Modifications for Emergency Staircase
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I'm looking to build a modified containers into a modular 3 story staircase that we can stack on-top of and existing building. It must be designed as an emergency exit hence the need for it to be robust yet lightweight.
Key Requirements:
- The staircase will be about 27 ft tall with a palletized base to distribute the weight load.
- The ideal candidate should be proficient in cutting and welding, insulation and paneling as well as adding windows and doors to the containers.
Preferred Materials:
- The use of structural materials that are light yet durable is key, with Aluminum being the primary choice for this project.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in architectural engineering and container modification.
- Proficiency in using lightweight structural materials.
- Prior experience in designing emergency exit structures is advantageous.
