M&E Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled M&E (mechanical and electrical) Consultant to design and oversee the installation of the M&E systems for a new build house. The property will be approximately 10,500 sq ft and construction is scheduled to begin soon.
Responsibilities:
Develop the mechanical and electrical design for the new build house.
Collaborate with architects and builders to ensure the M&E systems are integrated into the overall construction plan.
Review and approve designs and specifications for equipment and materials.
Prepare cost estimates for the M&E systems and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
Oversee the installation of the M&E systems during construction and ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and timely installation of the M&E systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during installation and commissioning.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in M&E design and installation.
Excellent knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with architects, builders, and other stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and other relevant software programs.
