Construction Permit Letter for Doorway

I need an experienced writer with knowledge about construction and city permits to compose a letter for the city, to receive permission to create an opening in a non-load-bearing wall in my property.

- Purpose: To create a new entry point
- Design: A floor-to-ceiling (approximately 11-12') opening, framed in, no door. The dimensions are projected to be 12-18 feet wide. Sufficient to provide easy egress to double outswing commercial doors already in place on wall next to this opening. (essentially opening up the wall to make a room and a hallway a larger room.
