Concrete Emergency Staircase Design

Job ID: 40609336

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

Our plant in Taloja MIDC needs an external concrete staircase dedicated to emergency evacuation for a building that rises no higher than three storeys. I already have the general location identified on site; what I need now is your engineering expertise to turn that idea into a safe, code-compliant structure that my contractor can pour without delays.

Scope
• Analyse the existing RCC frame and foundation points so the new stair can tie in cleanly without overstressing columns or beams.
• Design a reinforced-concrete staircase sized for quick emergency egress, incorporating landings, handrails and non-slip finishing in line with NBC 2016 and IS 456.
• Provide all structural calculations (dead, live, seismic and wind loads) along with bar-bending schedules.
• Produce construction-ready GA drawings, plan/section details, and a concise bill of quantities so procurement is straightforward.
• Ideally visit the site once (or collaborate over detailed photos and measurements) to confirm levels before we break ground.

Acceptance
I’ll sign off when I receive the full drawing set in PDF and editable DWG, the calculation note in PDF, and the BOQ in Excel – all reviewed for accuracy and practical buildability. If you can slot this into your schedule immediately, let’s talk timelines and any clarifications you need.
