I need a junior civil engineer to carry out a full, independent review of a single property. The focus is on reviewing the property as a whole, with particular attention to:
• Structural integrity – Identify any visible or hidden defects, assess load-bearing elements, and comment on material condition.
• Environmental impact – Note drainage, soil stability, nearby waterways, potential contamination, and any sustainability concerns.
• Compliance with regulations – Verify that the existing works, utilities, setbacks, fire-safety features, and accessibility provisions meet current local codes.
Please plan to visit the site (or work from complete drawings if a virtual review makes more sense), document your observations with photographs or marked-up plans, and compile an easy-to-follow report. The final submission should include:
1. An executive summary highlighting critical issues
2. Detailed findings for each of the three focus areas above
3. A prioritised list of recommended corrective actions
4. Relevant calculations, sketches, or code references that back up your conclusions
