Commercial Solar System Design Engineer
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
We are seeking a Freelance Solar Design Engineer to prepare preliminary designs and evaluations for MicroGrid Projects. Must be proficient in Helioscope, Xendee, and PVSyst. Work closely with the Project Finance Analyst to create utility-scale solar designs and solar energy solutions. New York area preferred.
The right candidate should have substantial experience in the following software/tools:
- AutoCAD
- PVSyst
- Helioscope
- Xendee
Experience with these platforms is crucial, and the ability to adapt to perhaps less familiar software will be appreciated. Prior experience with commercial solar system designs and optimization is a requirement for this project. Please provide a brief of your previous work in your proposal.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
• Experience with C&I solar project design
• Knowledge of solar energy technologies, photovoltaic systems, energy storage.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and grid integration.
