Commercial Restaurant HVAC Ducting Layout
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a complete HVAC ducting layout for a commercial restaurant I am fitting out. The system must handle both heating-cooling distribution and dedicated ventilation, with special attention to the dining area and the kitchen where heat and grease loads are highest.
Please base your design on standard U-factor and air-change requirements for restaurants, size the ducts for low noise, and specify all supply, return, and exhaust runs—clearly separating the kitchen hood exhaust from the general dining ventilation. I will be working from CAD floor plans, so deliver the drawing in AutoCAD (DWG) or Revit format with layer control, annotation, and an airflow schedule showing CFM per register. A short calculation sheet (PDF or XLS) that demonstrates your sizing method and fan selection is also expected.
I will consider the job complete once:
• the drawing opens cleanly in my template,
• airflow totals match the load calculations, and
• all grills, diffusers, and duct sizes are labeled.
If you have restaurant HVAC experience and can turn this around quickly, I’d love to see your portfolio examples alongside your bid.
