Commercial Lighting Expansion Design
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I’m expanding an existing commercial facility and need a complete electrical design focused solely on the lighting system. The new area must tie seamlessly into our current infrastructure while meeting all local code requirements for commercial spaces.
Here’s what I expect:
• Detailed single-line and layout drawings that show fixture locations, circuiting, panel schedules, and conduit runs
• Load calculations confirming the added lighting does not exceed our service capacity
• Fixture specifications and control strategy (switching or dimming as appropriate)
• Compliance notes for the applicable NEC sections and local energy codes
• A concise bill of materials so procurement can move quickly
I work with AutoCAD and Revit in-house, so please deliver the drawings in DWG (and, if possible, RVT) along with a PDF set for quick review. If you normally use Dialux, Relux, or similar for photometric calculations, include those reports as well.
The existing as-built drawings and panel schedules will be provided once we start. My goal is a design package that a licensed electrician can install without guesswork, so clarity and accuracy are critical.
