Commercial Construction Cost Estimates
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m at the very first budgeting stage for several commercial builds and need an experienced estimator to turn the blueprints into reliable numbers. You will work from the complete drawing set (architectural, structural and MEP, supplied as PDF/DWG) and develop a full cost model that covers materials, labour and equipment for every trade.
Accuracy in the initial-planning phase is critical, so I’m looking for someone who can extract precise quantities, reference an up-to-date cost database such as RSMeans, and present the figures in a clear CSI-formatted spreadsheet. Planswift, Bluebeam or any comparable take-off software is fine as long as the native files are shared.
Deliverables
• Marked-up digital take-offs showing measured areas/lengths/counts
• Editable spreadsheet with unit rates and totals split into material, labour and equipment columns
• One-page summary of assumptions, contingencies and exclusions
Acceptance criteria: quantities traceable back to sheet/page, cost breakdown within ±5 % of current regional averages.
