Civil Drawing Modification for Power Cable - Lot 6 Sand Pits Road Crooked Brook

Job ID: 38391064

Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD

I'm seeking a skilled professional to adjust my civil drawings to accommodate a 1m flat for a power cable. Key details and requirements include:
We have a rural subdivision which is designed and constructed as per the attached drawings. The electrical cables added to the project are installed 300mm offset from the lot boundaries inside the road reserve.
This caused the cables to be installed inside road side drains in some places. However this is not acceptable by Western Power as they require 1m flat area at top of the power cable. ( Power cable needs to sit centrally ad the middle of the 1m flat.)
The solution is to install 350mm perforated corrugated HDPE pipes inside the drains where we have power cable problem.
After installing pipes the trench will be backfilled to create the 1m flat area. We will have a new smaller road side drain.
I have attached a proposed cross section of the new drain.

The scope is to: ( Only for the side that power cable is located.)
Check the cable location, if it is inside or on the batters of the roadside drain then we need to install pipes.
We will need to show the new pipes. On drainage plans
We also need to show the new roadside drain. On drainage plans
We need to update, earthworks, drainage road profiles and cross sections etc to show the changes.
Where we have crossovers the HWs will be replaced with soakwells.
Details for grated soakwells and stone pitch around them should be added.
The revision on the drawings needs to be added.
- The scope of work involves adding a 1m flat at the top for a power cable.
- Additionally, the project requires the inclusion of soak wells in lie of crossover HWs.
- Alterations to the road drainage plans, earthworks plans, road cross sections are necessary.
- Pipes will need to be incorporated inside the drains.
- Specific guidelines for the design and placement of the additional 1m flat for the power cable must be adhered to. In this case, the cables are installed at a 300mm offset from the boundary into the road reserve.
We also need to know the loss of water storage by doing the above, so we can add storage somewhere else.

The ideal candidate for this project should have a strong background and experience in civil engineering, particularly in civil drawing and design for infrastructure projects. An understanding of power cable placement and a meticulous attention to detail are crucial for the successful completion of this task.

I have attached the full set of civil drawings, power drawing and a section explaining what needed to be done at problematic areas.
Any questions, please ask.
