CAD Design of indented latch that moves up and down with help of handle with simple gear
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I provide pictures and a short film of an indented latch of a double door, that moves up and down with a handle and a simple gear. I want a functional design for exactly the same latch you see on the pictures.
The wing of double door that opens occasionally, should be fixed in the ground and on the top with a latch. Because of the height of the door, the handle is there to make it easier to make the latch move upwards and fix the doorwing.
I need you to create a 2D- and 3D-CAD drawing of a functional handle with a simple gear to move an indented latch up and down as on the movie (and the pictures).
Key requirements:
- Both 2D drawing (AutoCAD) and 3D model (Inventor) are needed. These drawings need to be functional! The 2D-drawings should allow me to lasercut the gear, the handle and the latch. The 3D-model should include a dynamic simulation as a proof that the gear fits the indents in the latch and make the latch move up and down as required.
- For dimensions: the thickness of the latch is 5mm, the handle is 5mm, the gear 5mm.
There is one more limitation: the width of handle and latch combined should be in the highest position of the latch < 50mm
Ideal skills for this job:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Experience with CAD design for mechanical components.
- Good understanding of dimensions and scale in CAD.
For your help, I have drawn some vectors on the pictures already and scaled them accordingly the tapemeasure (in mm ! ). On one of the pictures you see that the gear is on the backside of the handle.
