I have a project requiring an experienced engineer to draw up plans for a boat dock which will be submitted to the core of engineers. My plan consists of:
- Boat Slip: A dedicated area intended for a boat.
- Floating Dock: A section of the dock that will float on the water, allowing easy access to boats.
I have already laid out the plans for these functions. However, they require an experienced engineer's touch to ensure that the design is structurally sound, usable, and abides by the regulations.
In terms of aesthetics, I would prefer a modern steel design. This not only enhances the overall look, but it also provides increased durability, requires less maintenance, and offers a longer service life.
In addition to the engineering of the dock, I require a structural analysis to ensure that the design is strong, stable, and safe for use in the long run.
