Automatic construction cost estimates from pdf files
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I want to build a program/website that can automatically calculate the cost of reconstruction of a floor in an office building. The user will upload drawings of the existing state and the target state (in pdf or dwg format), and the software should automatically determine the cost of construction changes. The construction estimates (quantities) must be presented in an excel file and automatically upload unit prices for each item from another data base and calculate (quantities X unit price).
The cost estimate must be categorized into at least the following elements:
1. Demolitions (walls, ceilings, carpet, doors, furniture etc.)
2. New dry walls
3. New glass walls
4. New doors (solid and glass)
5. Other walls (e.g. movable walls)
6. Suspended ceilings
7. Modular ceilings
7. Ceilings (may be different types)
8. Reinforcement with UA75 profiles (usually where the doors are)
9. Reinforcement made of OSB boards (usually in the walls where the TVs are and in kitchens)
9. Raised floor construction
10. Painting
11. Finishing the walls with ceramic tiles
12. Plumbing and HVAC systems (estimated for sqm)
13. Electrical installations (estimated for sqm)
14. Labor (based on average price from sqm - no need to estimate from pdf)
15. Contingency
Project also includes creating a simple website explaining how it works with possibility to upload project and SaaS payment. After the user submits the project (pdf files), the software should send the estimate for verification to me, and then I manually send it to the user.
Required accuracy, machine learning, use of AI and training of models (I can help with this as the projects are in Polish).
The project will be developed, so it is required to write code so that in the future it can be extended e.g. with larger objects, accurate construction drawings, detailed design, branch design.
Project estimates and website must be in Polish (I can help with translations) and English.
Full transfer of copyrights and code transfer required.
