AutoCAD Lisp Annotation Automation

I need a compact, well-structured AutoCAD Lisp routine that takes the repetitive text-based annotation work off my hands. The sole focus is automation: the code should recognise targeted objects or coordinates and place the correct text annotation (with style, height, and layer settings I can edit from the top of the script) in one step instead of several manual commands. Linear or angular dimensions are not required right now, but I would like the routine written cleanly enough that those features could be slotted in later.

Core expectations
• One .lsp file, clearly commented.
• A short README or in-line header explaining variable names, command call, and any support functions.
• No external plug-ins—standard AutoCAD Lisp only—so it runs from AutoCAD 2020 onward.

Acceptance check
If I can load the file with APPLOAD, call the custom command once, and see the correct text annotation appear on the specified layer without manual tweaks, the job is done.
