Arizona-Stamped Belgard Retaining Wall

Job ID: 40060345

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m ready to move forward with an engineered design for a 6-foot tall segmented block retaining wall that will combat erosion on my site. The wall will be built with Belgard units, and it must safely resist a 4H:1V back-slope surcharge. A recent geotechnical investigation has been completed, so you will have a full soil report to work from rather than guessing at clay, sand, or loam parameters.

Because the project is in Arizona, the final drawings and calculations must bear an Arizona professional engineer’s stamp. I’m only interested in a solution that meets IBC and local code requirements and fully addresses global stability, sliding, overturning, bearing, drainage, and any reinforcement or geogrid needs associated with Belgard blocks.

Deliverables I need from you
• Signed and sealed drawings (plan, elevation, typical cross-sections) in PDF and CAD
• Calculation package that clearly documents all load cases, safety factors, and soil parameters from the report
• Brief construction notes outlining drainage, backfill, and compaction requirements

If you have Arizona stamping authority and experience with segmental block systems—especially Belgard—let’s talk so I can send over the survey, soil report, and any other site details you require.
