Architectural Drawings for Commercial Renovation

We currently operate a 4,000 sq. ft. retail space in Orlando and are planning to expand by incorporating the adjacent 2,000 sq. ft. unit. To do this, we need to remove the wall separating the two spaces, which will require a permit. We've received quotes of $2 per sq. ft. for the total 6,000 sq. ft. space specifically for the drawings and engineer needed for county approval, but this cost is beyond our budget.
