Architect design

I am looking for an experienced architect to design a residential project for me. Although I have a general idea of what I am looking for, I am open to new suggestions and ideas. The project area is small, measuring less than 1000 sq ft. Therefore, I am looking for an architect who can provide creative solutions to maximize the space within the given area. The ideal candidate should be able to bring my vision to life while staying true to the general style in mind. Additionally, the candidate should have strong technical knowledge and experience in the field to handle the project successfully. We are family of 3, soon 4. We would like to redesign our house and put another floor to it, or another floor and under roof. We like current visual of the house and would like to continue in that direction. We have one idea from domestic architect and we are 50% satisfied with his inside solution but 100% not with exterior of the house. We live in Croatia, Mediterranean area.
