Architect Required in Florida
Budget: $35 – $75 USD
Seeking an architect to legalize a 120 sq ft porch enclosure in Hollywood, FL. We need to provide signed/sealed plans showing the back room. Including wall details (connections to the back plate, strapping, wall thickness, interior framing, insulation) or rational analysis. Must be able to conduct a site visit and submit designs so that we can obtain a permit.
The “Florida room” structure was approved as a “porch” but when we filed a permit application to change the windows they responded that a porch can’t have windows. However, the City agreed that we can move forward with approved drawings. The previous architect is not available but we have all of the drawings and pictures. - Jay
