Alabama-Licensed Foundation Engineer Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m finalizing plans for a new-build single-family home in Alabama and now need a structural engineer who already holds an active Alabama PE license to design and stamp the foundation package.
The architectural drawings are ready; your task is to take those PDFs/CAD files, run the calculations, and produce a code-compliant foundation design that will sail through the local permit office. I’m looking for conventional crawlspace expertise, but I’m open to your professional recommendations if soil reports suggest an alternate system.
Key deliverables
• Signed and sealed foundation drawings (DWG + PDF)
• Supporting structural calculations in an easy-to-follow format
• Brief specification notes that align with current Alabama Residential Code
Acceptance criteria
1. Stamped documents must bear your Alabama PE credentials.
2. Design loads, soil data and rebar schedules should be traceable in the calcs.
3. All files must import cleanly into AutoCAD or Revit with no broken layers.
I’ll provide the survey, geotechnical report and floorplan the moment we start. If you have availability over the next two weeks and are comfortable working in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, RISA or a similar structural package, let’s discuss your approach and timeline.
