Clarifications:

I used it because I thought I could use the door as storage space in my design.
I used this type of door for the mudroom and for the coat storage near the entrance front door as well it is used for within the interior walls only. It will be better than just using a regular door.
To save more spaces in the mudroom I used the under-stair areas for storage.
In the end, it is your call if you wish to have storage under your staircase.
Next to the office the powder room I add a shower which I think it's fancy and nice to have extra one downstairs. As well as another storage down the staircase inside the powder room.
I always wanted to have more storage in my house and I hope you would like my design.
The interior walls were taken and I used a cubes storage system to separate the TV area from the other part of the living area as well as the Dining area and not the dining room because there is no wall separating the areas from each other. It is nice to have an open concept area but also to be separated to have some privacy and a more intimate atmosphere.
