A technical and customizable Augmented Reality solution may be developed for immersive online experiences of physical events. As an example, the independence day celebrations are conducted at the Red Fort every year. The entire event is officially broadcast by Doordarshan. Certain features may be added in the Augmented Reality/Mixed Reality broadcast to allow for more interactive experience for the viewer, e.g. a viewer getting the experience of standing below the flag as the Hon’ble PM unfurls it, having an aerial view of the Red Fort while showering the flowers from the helicopters, crossing through the Lahori Gate, walking with the Hon’ble PM as he/she climbs the stairs to the ramparts of the Red Fort, sitting among the VIPs during the event, etc. In future, the solution may develop certain features which are unique for similar major events. Special viewing devices for such experiences may also be developed for being made available for the common public
