Augmented Reality (AR)

Role : Augmented Reality (AR). We’re looking for a skilled 3D Modeler experienced in Augmented Reality commerce to create and optimize product models for use on Shopify product pages and in Google Merchant Center for 3D/AR Shopping Ads. Your work will bring products to life through immersive, high-fidelity AR experiences that run smoothly across all major platforms.

Responsibilities:

Model, texture, and optimize 3D products for AR compatibility in both GLB and USDZ formats.

Prepare clean meshes and ensure correct scale across product variants (e.g., 28”, 38”, 48”).

Apply high-quality PBR textures and ensure consistent visual accuracy across materials.

Test and validate models for Shopify AR Viewer (Android/Scene Viewer) and iOS Quick Look.

Ensure compliance with Shopify and Google Merchant Center AR asset requirements.

Collaborate with our creative and development teams to maintain visual and performance standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience in 3D modeling and texturing for e-commerce or product visualization (not just gaming/film).

Strong understanding of AR optimization standards, including polycount limits, UV mapping, and real-world scaling.

Proficiency with 3D software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema 4D.

Familiarity with PBR workflow and GLB/USDZ export pipelines.

Ability to troubleshoot and optimize models for fast loading and realistic rendering.

A portfolio showcasing AR commerce models (Shopify or Google Merchant Center experience preferred).

Deliverables:

GLB, USDZ, Blend files for each product.

Scaled versions as specified.

Fully optimized models tested for Shopify AR Viewer and Google Merchant Center compatibility.
