AR Multiplayer Grid Game Design

Job ID: 40373961

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m building a location-based, multiplayer AR experience that turns a 25 × 25 ft pavilion floor into a living grid of tiles. Players look through their phones, walk across the mapped space, and claim tiles simply by standing on them—strategic movement is the heart of the game. As people weave through the grid, ownership flips in real time and scores update instantly, so every step counts.

Visually, the world must feel unmistakably South Indian. Think intricate kolam-style line work flowing across the tiles and rich region-inspired colour palettes and textures stitched into the UI, particle effects and score animations. I’m leaning on traditional patterns and motifs rather than literal landmarks, because I want cultural flavour without force-fitting architecture. If you know mobile games or apps that capture a strong sense of place through subtle art direction, bring those references—I’d like to use proven interaction and onboarding ideas as creative springboards.

What I need from you:
• A visual style guide covering the grid, tiles, HUD elements and transition states, grounded in those South Indian patterns and colours.
• Unity-ready 2D/3D assets (textures, materials, simple VFX) that keep performance smooth on current iOS and Android handsets.
• Interaction mock-ups or lightweight prototypes showing how players’ real-time movement updates tile ownership and score feedback.
• Clear documentation so my dev team can plug your assets straight into AR Foundation / ARCore / ARKit.

Acceptance criteria: assets import into Unity without errors, retain visual fidelity under AR lighting, and tile-change feedback remains readable from typical phone viewing distance (about 1.2 m). I’m available for quick feedback cycles—let’s make this grid come alive.
