Augmented reality for Maintenance instructions

I am an educational instructor. I want an augmented reality resource. It does not bother me which App is used. I want to have a Poster of (for example) a Centrifugal Pump or a valve and I want there to be the option to hold an IPAD in front of the poster and it to bring up notes or links and instructional prompts or GIFs of water flowing through the pump. I want this to work if I had a physical pump and can have the barcode on it and it to activate the GIF
