As a small non-profit organization, we require a thorough and well-ordered audit to ensure our financial compliance. We are planning to apply for numerous grants, thus necessitating a precise audit. We need a Certified Public Accountant. - The project primarily involves ensuring our financial compliance, critically assessing our organization's transactions (less than 10 checks per month) and preparing us for grant applications. - Ideal freelancers will have impressive experience with non-profit organizations, a solid grasp of auditing for compliance, and a demonstrated record of achieving results. - This task requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional professionalism, clear communication, and an ability to work within a tight schedule. The audit will be for just one year that ended 9/30/25. We use a bookkeeper to organize our data and she prepares a financial statement (P&L) and a balance sheet. We are a nonprofit 501c3 that provides affordable housing. Our 990 tax return has been completed. Your expertise in driving efficiency through your audit results will greatly assist our objective of getting numerous grants for our organization. We have an older audit completed several years ago. Ideally, you will have a US contact who can certify your work.
