IFRS Audit Template Creation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am putting together a fresh set of working-paper templates that will let my team capture data from Financial Statements and Audit Reports in a clean, IFRS-aligned format. The core of the assignment is the actual creation of these templates—no simple data entry or light edits, but building robust, user-friendly files that reflect the disclosure and testing requirements of IFRS 9 (Financial Instruments), IFRS 15 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers), and IFRS 16 (Leases).
Here is what I need from you:
• A suite of new, well-structured templates (preferably in Excel, but I’m open to Google Sheets or another spreadsheet tool) that can be slotted straight into our audit file.
• Clear input sections for trial-balance data and supporting schedules, plus automated cross-references to the relevant IFRS standard and assertion being tested.
• Built-in checks or flags that highlight missing information, rounding differences, or breaches of materiality thresholds.
• A concise instruction tab inside each template so junior staff know exactly how to populate it.
Acceptance criteria
• Each template must load without errors, formula breakage, or external links.
• IFRS 9, IFRS 15, and IFRS 16 disclosure requirements are mapped and traceable within the file.
• Formatting is consistent (fonts, shading, headings) and print-ready on A4.
• I can plug in a sample client trial balance and have the file roll up totals accurately.
