YouTube Gaming Content Editor Needed - 06/11/2024 18:46 EST

My 10yr old son is creating his 2nd YouTube Channel, this one focusing on gaming content with him having the complete gamer setup of a microphone, headset, camera, etc. He wants to be able to play different games that are big right now and during the time he plays he would be giving funny little commentary here and there along with sharing secrets of how to beat levels. His brother would join him from time to time - when they play together , they naturally have commentary back and forth and having the viewers hear and see them adds something extra to just a basic video.

Key Responsibilities:
- Find the materials/software needed for making content with video and commentary
- Set up the microphone, headsets, camera and anything else needed for him to make content
- Ensure all the games needed are download, be able to download other games as needed
- Create video setups that allow him to have a corner visual box of him playing the game, audio clear
- Prepare videos for uploading, handle editing and audio software - must be able to do this on-going
- Videos will need a watermark prior to upload, add watermark to the area where YouTube has the "Subscribe" button so the watermark is clean and blends in
- On-going support after setup, will need video edits and uploads to be done by video editor
_ Troubleshoot any issues that arise

Skills Required:
- Proficient in video/audio editing software.
- Experience with setting up audio / visual materials
- Familiar with YouTube video edits - i.e - make split screens or corner video window of gamer
- Previous experience in editing gaming content
- Able to edit videos with watermarks
- Ideally would be able to consult making videos creatively to maximize viewers or help the channel get
subscribers
- Creative thinker with a knack for visual storytelling is a plus
