We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Video Editor who understands the insight of editing for young audiences. You’ll work on transforming raw audio and visuals into engaging videos that delight and educate children globally.
-Edit children’s shorts including songs, rhymes, and animated stories using provided audio, visuals, and scripts.
-Integrate child-friendly sound effects (SFX) and background music to enhance viewer engagement.
-Use bright and appealing color schemes aligned with early childhood preferences.
-Emphasize key moments through power visuals/text, zooms, highlights, or motion graphics.
-Ensure perfect synchronization between visuals, voiceovers, sound effects, and music.
-Maintain a smooth and consistent story flow that matches young attention span and emotional tone positive, playful, and emotionally warm.
What I Expect from You
Understanding of Kids’ Content: Familiarity with children's music, storytelling, pacing, and educational themes.
Strong Editing Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing software.
Emotional and Visual Sensibility: Ability to maintain a cheerful, soothing, and positive tone suitable for children.
Attention to Detail: No negative or scary SFX/VFX; only use visuals that are safe, relatable, and engaging for kids.
Adaptability to Brand Style:Match our existing character design, animation style, and color palette.
Efficiency: Ability to turn around edits quickly and implement feedback effectively.
