Toronto Art Exhibit Videography
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I’m organizing an upcoming art exhibit in Toronto and want a skilled videographer to document the event. This is an event-style shoot rather than a corporate piece or wedding coverage, so the feel should be creative and immersive, highlighting the atmosphere of the gallery.
The priority moments are the set-up — capturing artworks being installed, lighting checks, and behind-the-scenes touches — and the reception when guests first walk in, mingle, and react to the pieces. Clear audio for any short welcome remarks is useful, but there are no long speeches to cover.
You’ll need to bring and operate your own camera, lighting, and stabilization gear suitable for a low-light gallery space. A multi-camera approach is welcome if you have it, though a single-camera setup with thoughtful movement and cut-away shots can also work.
Please let me know:
• Your experience filming art or live events in Toronto
• The camera and audio kit you plan to use
• A link to at least one similar project you’ve shot and edited
Final deliverables: a 3–4-minute highlight video (ready for social media) plus all raw footage on a drive or downloadable link.
If this sounds like your kind of project, I’d love to see your reel and discuss the exhibit date and call times.
