Soften voice tone on vidoes

For my work, I have to listen to you-tube videos and the person is shouting. But I have a disability which makes it difficult for me to hear the words when someone is shouting.
Please can an Audio Editor reduce the person's tone on the videos so it sounds like a softer voice so I can hear the videos. I don't know if this is possible but it would be a great help.
