We are seeking a skilled freelancer to synchronise audio captured from an 8mm projector recording with a high-quality silent video file digitised from the same 8mm film reel. If the results are satisfactory, there will be additional clips to work on.
1. Source Material:
Video: High-quality .mov file digitised from an 8mm film scanner. This file is silent but has superior visual clarity.
Audio: Captured via a digital camera from the output of an 8mm projector with sound playback capabilities.
2. Challenge:
There may be slight discrepancies in timing due to differences in effective frame rates between the silent video and the audio recording.
The clip to be synchronised is approximately 3 minutes long.
3. Deliverables:
A single synchronised video file combining the high-quality video with the correctly aligned audio.
Smooth playback with precise synchronisation between the audio and video.
4. Requirements:
Proven experience in video editing and audio synchronisation.
Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent software.
