Reflective Life Documentary Edit

Job ID: 39863810

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I want to turn years of scattered clips and photos into a coherent, reflective documentary that traces both the highs and the lows of my life. All the source material sits in two places—my Instagram account and the camera roll on my phone. You’ll need to pull everything down, curate it chronologically, and weave it into a single narrative that feels thoughtful rather than flashy.

The finished piece should balance:
• Personal milestones (birthdays, graduations, travels)
• Moments of challenge and hardship (setbacks, tough periods)
• Simple everyday scenes that show what ordinary life looks like between the big events

Throughout, the overall tone must stay reflective. Subtle pacing, gentle transitions, and carefully chosen background music will help reinforce that mood. Color-grading, light motion graphics for dates or captions, and tasteful use of ambient sound are welcome if they enhance the story rather than distract from it.

I can supply login details or export links so you can pull the originals at full resolution. If voiceover would strengthen the narrative, let me know—I'm happy to record short lines once you build the backbone of the film.

Deliverables
• One master video file (H.264 or ProRes) ready for social upload and personal archiving
• A version optimized for Instagram Reels or Stories
• Project file(s) so future edits remain possible

Let me know what file formats you prefer for receiving the raw footage, any questions about the timeline, and a rough cut milestone you’d like for feedback before final delivery.
