Mixing & Mastering a Fictional Podcast
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I'm seeking a skilled audio engineer to mix and master my fictional story podcast. The podcast has a mysterious and suspenseful tone, and your role will be crucial in conveying this through the final mix of the audio. This is a limited project - there are 6 episodes total, each ranging from 35-40 min. Total estimated time for project is 18-24 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix and master audio to create a polished final product.
- Background music, sound effects, and voices are already done and edited, but needing someone with a keen ear to clean levels, eq, and set volumes within acceptable broadcast standards.
- Ensure the final mix conveys a mysterious and suspenseful tone and master for uploads to podcast hosting sites.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in mixing and mastering podcasts or films, especially in the fictional storytelling genre with heavy sound design.
- Proficiency in audio editing software - preferably Adobe Audition,
- Ability to understand and convey specific tones and moods through audio
