10-Minute Sound Design & Editing
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
I'm looking for an experienced audio editor to streamline and enhance a 10-minute soundpiece. This project blends narrative elements with non-verbal sounds.
Key Requirements:
- Integrate voiceovers, sound effects, and possibly music backgrounds.
- Mix and edit sounds for a cohesive audio experience.
- Ensure high-quality, semi-professional output
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Audacity).
- Strong background in sound design and mixing.
- Experience with narrative-driven audio projects.
Please provide samples of similar work.
This is an art project so, preferably, not too professional,, since it's just for sharing with fellow students and not graded. I will include a rough draft of a script to give the contractor an idea of the project, but it is by no means final. It is also IMORTANT to note that this project is for a group of post-colonial students. It is about Isabelle Eberhardt, a woman that joined the Algerian resistance against French rule. It is explicit about Europe's role in the break down of Algerian society, so if you are an Islamophobe, ethno-national supremacist or generally uncomfortable with content that talks about issues from the point of view of the subjugated (which a lot of people are at the moment) then this probably is not a great listen.
